How Company Search Works
Type any employer name — Infosys, Google India, HDFC Bank, Zomato — into the search bar and CompanyMatrimony instantly filters to profiles where that company is the verified employer. The search also matches job titles and industries, so searching for "product manager" or "banking" surfaces relevant results even if you have no specific company in mind.
Use the filters below the search bar to narrow further by industry, city, gender, or religion. Filters combine — you can find female software engineers in Bengaluru from Product Tech companies in one query. Toggle ★ Verified only to restrict results to profiles where the employer has been confirmed via work-email OTP.
Each result card shows only the fields the profile owner has set to Public — name, age, job title, employer, and city. Salary range, contact details, and family background are locked until both of you approve a connection request. Click View Profile on any card to see the full public profile and send a connection request.
What the ★ Verified Badge Means
The company-verified badge appears only when a profile owner has confirmed their employer by receiving a one-time passcode at their corporate email address (e.g. name@company.com) and entering it correctly within 10 minutes.
This eliminates self-declared employer claims that are impossible to verify on most matrimony platforms. A profile showing ★ Verified next to Accenture means the person provably has (or had, at the time of verification) an active Accenture mailbox — not just that they typed "Accenture" into a form.
Profiles without the badge are not hidden from search. They can complete verification at any time. Until they do, their employer entry is shown without the badge so you can make an informed decision about whether to connect.

Can I search without creating an account?
You can browse the search page and see public-field profile cards without an account. However, to view a full profile or send a connection request you need to be logged in. Creating a profile is free and takes a few minutes — only name, age, employer, and city are required to get started.
Why do some profiles show without a verified badge?
The ★ verified badge is earned by completing a work-email OTP check after registration. Some members joined recently and have not yet completed verification, or they may use a personal email with the same company domain. Unverified profiles are fully functional on the platform — they simply have not yet proven their employer affiliation. You can use the ★ Verified only filter if you want to restrict results to confirmed-employer profiles.
How are search results ordered?
Results currently appear in the order they were added to the platform, with company-verified profiles ranked above unverified ones when the search query matches multiple employers. Future releases will introduce relevance scoring based on profile completeness, mutual preference matches, and engagement signals.
How do I connect with someone I find in search?
Click View Profile on any card to open the person's profile page. From there, click Send Connection Request. The other person receives a notification and can accept or decline. If they accept, both of you gain mutual access to each other's approved-only fields — salary range, contact details, and family background — simultaneously. No data is shared until both sides approve.
Can I search for profiles from multiple companies at once?
The current search matches a single query against all profile fields simultaneously. Typing "TCS Wipro" would look for profiles where those words appear together, which may not return the results you expect. To browse a specific company, search for it alone — e.g. "TCS" or "Wipro". Multi-company selection filters are planned for a future update.
