1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CompanyMatrimony at matrimony.slrcore.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and SLR TECH (a division of SLR CORE).

2. Eligibility

To register on CompanyMatrimony you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be an Indian citizen or a person of Indian origin
• Provide accurate and truthful information about yourself
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be legally prohibited from marrying under applicable Indian law

The company-verified badge is available to users who are currently employed and hold a valid corporate email address with a recognised employer domain. Verification does not confirm your fitness or suitability as a marriage partner — it confirms only that your stated employer appears to match your registered work email domain.

3. Account Registration and Profile Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide on your profile. Submitting false, misleading, or outdated information — including fabricated employer details, qualifications, age, or marital status — constitutes a material breach of these terms and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal.

You must keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at hello@matrimony.slrcore.com.

You may register only one account. Duplicate accounts created to evade a ban or to misrepresent your identity are prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Harass, intimidate, threaten, or abuse any other user
• Post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or unlawful
• Solicit money, gifts, or financial assistance from other users
• Engage in or facilitate matrimonial fraud or misrepresentation
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation, advertising, or recruiting
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate access to the platform
• Impersonate another person or organisation
• Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Use another person's profile photograph, identity, or contact details without their consent

5. Connection Requests and Privacy

The connection request feature is based on mutual informed consent. Sending a connection request does not give you access to another user's restricted profile fields. Restricted fields — including salary range, personal phone number, email address, and family background details — become visible to both parties only after both users independently approve the connection.

You must not send repeated, unwanted connection requests to a user who has declined or ignored your previous requests. Doing so constitutes harassment and may result in account suspension.

6. Company Verification

The company-verified badge is earned by completing a work-email OTP flow. By initiating verification you confirm that:

• You are currently employed at the organisation associated with the email domain
• You have the right to receive communications at that email address
• The verification represents your current employment at the time of verification

The verified badge reflects your employment status at the time of verification. If you change employers, you are responsible for updating your profile. Retaining a verified badge after leaving an employer constitutes misrepresentation.

7. Intellectual Property

The CompanyMatrimony platform, including its design, source code, trademarks, and brand assets, is owned by SLR TECH. All rights are reserved. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without prior written consent.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to your profile (text, preferences, and other personal information). By submitting content, you grant SLR TECH a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content to users you are entitled to share it with, as determined by your visibility settings.

8. Disclaimers

CompanyMatrimony facilitates connections between users. We do not conduct criminal background checks, financial due diligence, or any form of suitability assessment beyond employer email OTP verification. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the suitability, intentions, or conduct of any user.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, SLR TECH and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of CompanyMatrimony, including but not limited to damages arising from interactions with other users, reliance on profile information, or inability to access the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount, if any, that you have paid to use the platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Reporting and Enforcement

If you encounter a user who you believe is violating these terms, please report them to hello@matrimony.slrcore.com. We investigate all reports in good faith and will take appropriate action, which may include warning, suspension, or permanent removal of the offending account.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of CompanyMatrimony shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We encourage users to contact us directly to resolve any issue before pursuing legal remedies.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of CompanyMatrimony after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible to register on CompanyMatrimony?

Any Indian professional aged 18 or above who can provide truthful profile information. The company-verified badge is additionally available to anyone currently employed at an organisation with a valid corporate email domain. You do not need to be verified to register — the badge is an optional trust signal.

What happens if someone posts false information?

Profile inaccuracy is a breach of these terms. You can report a suspicious profile to hello@matrimony.slrcore.com. We investigate and remove accounts that cannot substantiate their claimed employer, qualifications, or identity. Users who file false reports in bad faith may also face action.

Can I withdraw a connection approval once I have given it?

You can archive or remove a connection from your Connections list, which will hide the other user's restricted profile fields from your view. Full account-level blocking and reporting functionality is on our product roadmap.

Does the company-verified badge confirm a background check?

No. The verified badge confirms only that a user successfully received an OTP at a corporate email address matching their stated employer domain at the time of verification. It does not constitute a background check, identity verification, or financial due diligence.
