Clear explanations.
Honest expectations.

How we describe the service and prepare the guidance you read here.

What our guides are for

CompanyMatrimony guides help people prepare a profile, consider sharing choices, and approach an introduction thoughtfully. They are written for general use and do not assess an individual relationship. Checklists and prompts are optional aids, not tests that certify readiness or calculate compatibility.

Describe the feature that exists

Product explanations should match the interface and the available service. We distinguish account email confirmation from work-email verification, and describe a verification badge according to its limited purpose. We do not treat an email code as evidence of character, income, marital status, or relationship suitability.

Examples and illustrations

Writing examples are fictional and labelled as such. The homepage artwork is an original AI-generated illustration of a conversation. It is not a photograph of members, a testimonial, or evidence of a successful match. We do not invent member totals, employer partnerships, or success rates to support a design.

Respectful, practical writing

Our guidance encourages clear communication, personal choice, and respect for a decision to decline. Employer search provides professional context; it does not rank people’s worth. We aim to make instructions readable on small screens and to explain important limitations close to the feature being described.

Corrections

If a page contains an error or a feature behaves differently from its explanation, send us the page address and the specific issue. Include a reliable source where it helps explain a factual correction. We review feedback against the current interface and service information before changing the content.

Keeping information current

When a feature or its sharing behaviour changes, its instructions and relevant policy descriptions should be reviewed together. The date shown on a guide identifies its latest editorial update. It is not a guarantee that every external circumstance has remained unchanged.
